Branding for Medical Providers

Who needs branding? Isn’t providing quality patient care enough? Branding helps your business appear professional. It’s an easy way to convey to patients and business associates that you are trustworthy. Here’s three quick steps to get you started on creating your personal, professional brand.

1 – Use ChatGPT to create a logo. It doesn’t have to be fancy. It just needs to be uniquely yours. Think about where your logo will appear. If your logo is mainly used on paperwork, you may want a small square logo that is easy to add to the header. Simple is better. Fancy logos are nice when you have a large place to display them, but can become muddled when shrunk down to an appropriate size for envelopes and other business materials.

2 – Pick your business colors. Choose 2-3 colors to be the focus of your branding kit. If you used ChatGPT to create your logo, you can simply ask ChatGPT what colors it used. If you’re manually choosing your colors, think about what you want them to convey. Blue can be calming; yellows, red and oranges are energizing.

3 – Pick a primary and secondary font. You want fonts that are easy to read at any size and commonly available. Sans serif is a popular family of fonts for good reason. It’s clear and looks professional. Avoid fonts that are overly artistic and will be difficult to read at small sizes. Remember you can always use Italics to give your primary or secondary font a slightly different look.
